He asked her if she can forgive him for the bad things he did to her. She replied, there is nothing to forgive. He thought that she is still angry of him, but it was far from truth. So, he kept going and trying to get her forgiveness and he couldn’t understand why she was repeating in calm, almost zen tone, there is nothing to forgive.

She knew that he will not understand or believe if she tries to explain to him. So she didn’t. She kept it for herself and hoped that he’ll get to the right conclusion for himself. She knows that you can’t push someone to understand something or to make him believe something. You can present good arguments, but for his type of mindset, they will just hit the wall. It has to be their way or no way at all.

He knew that in the past he was pushing her to the limit. Raping her with his ideas, not letting her to make her own decisions and even if she did, he made it very clear that he is not approving them. Just because it wasn’t his way. If she did something she wanted to do or she felt that it’s the right thing to do and he didn’t like it, he stopped talking to her, stopped showing her love, acted like little offended brat.

When she couldn’t take the mental hits anymore, she made an end to it. She cut their relationship with one sharp move. Like samurai cuts with his sword. One sharp move and it was over. At least to her.

He. He tried to punish her with dating other woman and texting her about it. Just to make sure, she knew it. Then he tried to punish her with ignoring her. Later with telling her how much she hurt him and that he only wanted the best for her. That poor boy, that was so hurt. At the end by living with other woman and making sure she knew it. He even told her that she is responsible that he is living with other woman now. That she is responsible for his life with this woman, that he doesn’t even love her and when he makes love to her, it makes him sick.

She didn’t react. She knew that his actions are toxic. She just listen to what he wanted to say and moved on, without any real action.

At the end, when he realised that nothing is helping, whatever he does it’s not making her come back. He couldn’t control her anymore. This is the time when he came to ask for forgiveness.

The reason why she said that there is nothing to forgive, is that she can’t resent him for being himself. Yes, his actions hurt her deeply, but this is who he is. And he has every right to be who he is. She can’t hold it against him. It’s his right and so, there is nothing to forgive. She just removed herself from the position where she didn’t want to be anymore.
